During the week July 20th, Eva participated in the 24th annual International Decorative Artisan League Convention and Exposition in Memphis.

Eva interacted with the leaders and master artisans of the industry, discussing techniques and styles.  In the Product Expo, she was able to see the cutting edge products available only decorative artisans, dealing directly with representatives and owners of top companies providing decorative paints, glazes, innovative faux products, texturing plasters, custom cut stencils and metallic finishes.

Knowing that her craft constantly evolves and there is always more to learn, she studied with superior craftsman and top masters of the decorative arts profession. Intensive instruction in marbling, wood graining and decorative plaster techniques allowed Eva to grow artistically and expand her portfolio.

At the event, Eva reinforced and furthered her contacts and resources in the Decorative Arts field. Melanie Royals (Royal Design Studio and Modello Designs) and Helen Morris (The Stencil Library of England) who are the creative forces and individual owners of the two largest stencil companies in the industry; Adrienne Van Dooren author of the book The House That Faux Built, and Faux Master Artisans Pierre Finkelstein, George Zaffle, Cynthia Davis, Jennifer Ferguson, Martin Alan Hirsch and many other innovators and industry leaders are now part of Eva’s professional network.

These alliances and contacts allow Eva to utilize a vast knowledge of decorative art to ensure that all of her projects are of the highest caliber and ultimately exceed the expectations of her clients.
