Transforming walls into art may involve only a few steps done in a short timeframe or may require many individual layers and multiple applications over several days. How elaborate the finish will define the price. So when deciding you should consider what you want your budget to be, which is very helpful during initial discussion so Eva can FAUXCUS on your individual needs and what is best suited for you. From simple glazes to the very chic elephant skin to her own unique creations, Eva has a faux for every budget.

Faux Finishes are generally priced per square foot for the application plus material. The type of surface and faux selected as well as special circumstances such as the need for wall preparation or scaffolding would also be considered.

And let's not FAUXGET

When faux finishing your home you are making a fantastic investment, thus enhancing its value, for both your enjoyment or for potential buyers.

On site design consultation In order to appropriately estimate the project, Eva will visit the site to view the space, take measurements and discuss desired faux options with you. You will then receive a written quote.Once you decide to go ahead with your project, Eva will meet with you again to sign off on your desired finish sample. At that time a down payment of 50% of the cost is required and the other half upon completion of the work.

NOTE:

The beauty of Eva's art is in the versatility of her finishes, able to adapt to the wall you selected.

You can either choose from any of her already created faux samples or one can be designed just for you.

An individual faux sample with your specific needs in mind will cost $100 to create and this charge will be refunded to you off your final bill upon completion of the project.

A Note on Faux Finishes:

Eva's work is all finished by hand. Each wall is a unique creation. The samples that you see on the website and even the ones you see in person are representative.

Variation may be caused by wall texture, lighting, contrasting and complementary colors of furniture and decorative pieces in the room.

A Note on Walls:

All of Eva's fauxs from the Collection Morgenstern as well as certain fauxs from the Eclypse de Mar children's line may be applied to smooth finished or existing "orange peel" or "light knock down finish" walls . Because there is no need for elaborate wall preparation these fauxs will meet the needs for the smaller budget while being absolutely spectacular.

Glazes also are an economic alternative and may also be applied to existing walls with any texture.  The results will vary depending the texture and glazes used.

Aravis was designed for walls with a heavier texture; either be applied by adding texture to your wall or work with the existing heavy texture. If you already have a heavy textured wall and choose an Aravis finish, you will be able to extend your decorating budget! Many of the Eclypse de Mar and Morgenstern are on heavy texture as well.

Vogue, Leather, Wood graining and Marble Finishes are more elaborate than the other finishes in Eva’s portfolio. Wall preparation and additional application steps will require a longer application time and a greater budget when choosing these finishes.
